THE MINISTER OF SECONDARY EDUCATION DONATES SANITARY KITS TO REGIONAL DELEGATES.
The ceremony that took place earlier on today at the courtyard of the Ministry of Secondary Education was presided at by the Secretary General of the Minister of Secondary Education, Oyona Adams Daniel, personal representative of the Minister of Secondary Education.
The sanitary kits made up of 1003 alcohol hand-based sanitizers and 3000 masks where received from the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation as their support to fight against the spread COVID-19 in schools.
These kits where handed over to all ten (10) Regional Delegates of Secondary Education who are charged with ensuring they reach the students and teachers.
Speaking during this solemn ceremony, the Secretary General reiterated that the donation of these sanitary kits falls in line with instructions received from the Head of State to protect teachers and students. Hence these should be made available to the teachers and students first thing on June 01, 2020.
The Regional Delegates on their part expressed satisfaction stating that these kits will go a long way to reinforce what their various schools already have to ensure a serene school environment.
